Just like the old times
It was EW's last day on Friday (intern Miss A's as well). In fact, over the past 2 months, our department have had quite a number of farewells (KT, HY, KL, JP, TT).
People come and go, just like water which flows, from one place to another. I enjoy working with the new colleagues, and yet I could not stop missing the times I had with the old ones.
It was after work hours on Fri, I was gonna go and get some water from the pantry while talking to JC, who would be on holiday!! Fabulous! That was when someone entered the office--- JP!!!! Both JC and I screamed with surprise! We were so happy to see her visiting!! Later at around 8pm I started chatting to her ,then another surprise arrived at the office...KT!!! She was our dept sec, a cool and playful one, our office used to be full of laughter when she was here. She came to bid farewell to EW as well.
Then BK said it felt so much like the old times... My heart felt sore suddenly... I realised how i miss the old times...not just about my workmates, but many many many other moments in the past...time flies.
I ought to be forward looking now, treasure the very special person I have with me, my lovely friends, family, and I wish my colleagues who have left the very best in their career and everything they deserve!
P.S. Great news-- NW gave birth to a baby son on Fri!! LIFE IS FULL OF AMAZEMENT!

IRONY IN LIFE

Women are contradictive creatures.
When she has a man who cares about her so much and begs to see her as much as he can, she finds him annoying and thinks he "is not capable of great achievements". Instead, she falls for someone who has so many different engagements, doesn't have enough time for her, and confuses her most of the time. Then it has become her turn to beg to see him as much as she can...GOSH...why sometimes women are so "FAN JIN"...???

great stuff~
Celebrated SSP grand opening...great location, near our competitors.
GCG Club handover dinner was great and fun too... as becoming one of the Recreations sub-committee, looking forward to working with a bunch of interesting guys and gals! They are amazingly witty!

Inspirations~
So thankful~
Really glad to be in CF, be with so many wonderful ppl and get exposure to so many different things.
Recently been rotated to Operations unit, working on business process of a system and some compliance stuff...opertaions stuff is quite different to branch sales support, latter's task is more straight forward and quicker to complete... whereas operations stuff takes more time to digest and think, so academic! Unfortunately I felt quite sick these 2 weeks and I wasnt at my best to work my ass off!
Some inspirations from 2 ppl over the past 2 weeks. One is my new boss Mr. L, and the other one is my senior Mr H.Y....(I do not disclose names here)
Had a welcome lunch with Mr. L around 2 weeks ago, who talked about his work and it was enlightening.
It's all about attitude when it comes to work.
Try to learn about the meaning behind and objectives from different tasks.
Today went to Yum Cha with a bunch of colleagues, while walking back to office, had a chat with Mr. H.Y ....Mr. H.Y. is amazing, he speaks PERFECT English just like an English gentleman, and he will be going to Harvard for DBA in June!!! Absolutely fabulous. He is an Operations person and today he gave me advice as how I could equip myself for later challenges. Learn operations...Try to do some PI...then learn underwriting...thx Mr. H.Y!
At the end of the day, ATTITUDE is important, it's the source of energy to perform well.
